I went to Japan!!!

I really meant to keep this blog happening and up to date but.................well, life in meat space got in the way! (I still can't believe the non-cyber world is called meat space!)
Had a short 12 day holiday in Japan last month. My first (but definitely not last) visit. Hmmmmmmmmmm. Very interesting place. So easy to travel around even without the language. Highlights? Visit to Hakone Open Air Musuem (check out the video), an interview with a Hiroshima survivor, and having my feet eaten by Dr Fish. Weirdly delicious. Oh and of course the FOOD.

Lucky girl! Japan is the one place I want to visit before I shuffle off this mortal coil...maybe when my divorce settlement comes through I'll treat myself (it's either that or a Harley) ;)

Yes - you must! Great place!(But then again a Harley sounds pretty good too. What about a bike trip around Japan?) Got your email but then it got buried under a mountain of the incoming stuff before I coudl reply! Hope you've recovered from the surgery. Will email you soon with bits of goss and ......whatever!

My, you get up with the birds! I see you sent me a nudge on my blog. I'm afraid it's been somewhat abandoned but I might clean it up (get rid of some of that ICT stuff) and start it again in the summer when I can shrug off the vestiges of what has been a fairly crap year and get my head around the next one(I have five weeks holiday, yoo hoo!). It's hot here but I guess you must be heading into winter (you really are about as far away as a person can get without coming back again). I'm looking forward to a few days visiting friends in Ireland and hopefully some cool weather! Catch you later, chica...and stay in touch!

The time on the blog comment is not my time! I woudln't be blogging at that hour! In fact I'm usually hitting the 9 minute snooze button at that time. Any hoooooooo - yep it's getting cold and I am thinking of warmer climes for my birthday in August. New Caledonia? Bali? Thailand? No sure yet. Hope you have a great holiday and that the year between these holidays and the next, is light and breezy.
Bless!
