I can really see the usefulness of blogs in the classroom. Loved this sentence by one of Burcu's students, Damla, on her class blog :
I felt hungry when my stomach's bell rang.
The thing then is to enthuse our teachers about this tool and provide solid training to support that enthusiasm.

Hi Jools,
After reading your post I recalled a student of mine visiting New York city and getting lost two blocks from the Hotel. She called me all confident because she had the Hotel card and my room number. When I asked her where she was she told me: "...I'm at don't walk with Broadway". At first I did not realize the mistake but later on changing into Portuguese language I asked her again and then I understood her confusion in English.
I was afraid something had happened to her so back then it was not so funny. Cheers - Sandra
