I'm in love!

I'm loving blogging! I could become very boring in the next few months and spend a lot of time here.

Yet..........it makes we realise (again) we live in such voyeuristic , narcissistic times. Blogs, Facebook, Myspace, Twitter. mobiles etc etc. All this technology cries out "I'm here! Look at me! Look at me!"

Are we alive if there is no one to witness our every waking moment?

It's as if we can't stand to be alone and in our own space in our own skin 100% in the present - unobserved.

OOOOOOOOH - a bit heavy but ....it's how I feel sometimes.

I agree, we herd together for comfort. Ever go onto an empty beach, miles from anywhere, to enjoy the peace and quiet only to have a family of twelve roll up and park themselves next to you?
I like being disconnected from the world, but it's also nice to take a peek at all the madness out there. I like the introduction to your blog, Julie, it feels like a good place to sound off!

Instinctive behaviour traits from the wilderness!
Nice to be connected or disconnected, need a bit of both. Sometimes people crowd your thoughts, sometimes their presence inspires and energizes :-)
Does this comment look all funny, I wonder?

Yes I think there's something about the blogging thing that is addictive, I may be hooked too, can't believe it's taken me this long to get round to it. The picture above is a bit freaky btw!

The picture is of a cage full of Barbie Dolls suspended from a tree. It was an installation at the Rainbow Serpent Music Festival 2009. I go every year with my friends their kids. Great long weekend!Check outthe video at my 10 Dec post if you're interested.
BTW Vale - all the comments are fine; no overlapping.

I love this blogging lark too and understand you completely. The way to go now is to decide what the blog is for? will you turn it into a journal? Your enthusiasm for all things technical is fab BTW

I was wonderingabout that. I'll defintley keep it going but it will be more of a journal. Did you have a lovely birthday, Jo?
